Quick Tip – Cleaning Burnt Food on Your Pots

I am sure you have heard all kinds of solutions for cleaning you pots and pans. This however is one you may want to try on a difficult clean-up task. Let your pan cool, get rid of (rinse) the easily removed excess food. Pour a little (Tablespoon) fabric softener in and fill with water. Let stand for a few hours and all will easily clean up with a sponge or dish towel. Good Cookin!

How healthy is my lead crystal?

First, for clarification purposes, I should say that the term “crystal” when used in any stemware or glass application is a bit of a misnomer, as glass lacks a crystalline structure. The term crystal began with Venetian glass makers using “cristallo” to describe their imitated rock crystal glass, and remains popular today for historical and commercial reasons.
